Abigail caught a glimpse of my last post and asked, "Where's my story?" So, Abigail, these are some of my favorite things about you:
I love the way you sing in your bed every night as though no one else could hear
I love staying up a little later with only you, drinking our dessert tea and reading books
I love how big you look in your bed (okay, so that one sometimes makes me feel sad...but in a good kind of way!)
I love how you always dance around the house
I love how you run from one window to the next, waving goodbye to Daddy every morning
I love how when ya'll are hanging out with Dad while I sneak away for a quiet trip to the store, you always call me (even without Dad knowing it) - and how your messages always begin with, "Um, Mom, I just wanted you to know that....)
I love listening to you read - you do so with such expression and animation
I love your tender heart for the Lord and how easily you memorize His word
Best of all, I love that I get to be your mom!

aww-what a great entry for your online diary
I love that picture of her. She really has so much expression and animation oozing out of her, doesn't she?
Oh, sweet Abigail. She is a gem.
ha! Bella always calls me when I am out and about and....her conversations always start with "Um...mom, I just wanted to tell you..."
We love you too Abby!!!!
And Anna...we love you too!!! hehe!
(p.s. *sniff sniff* they are getting so big!
I am privileged to have the opportunity to be both Abigail and Anna's "memaw". I love the way that Abigail reads to me now when I put her to bed; I love the way that Anna "reads" to me when I put her to bed (she wants to be like big sister). I love the way that Abby dances and is such the little lady. I love the way that Anna laughs and such the little jokester. I love the way that Abigail is bold in her love for the Lord. I love the way that Anna held her blanket and wore her halo while wearing her dress during the Christmas pageant a couple of years ago. Those moments will be cherished. I love every opportunity we can share with our two granddaughters. God blessed me so much when David met and married Shannon. She is best daughter-in-law a mother could ever hope to wish for.
alice - i had totally forgotten about anna with her little blanket at church. thank you for your kind words - you are certainly a blessing to me as well!
I love knowing these things about your precious Abigail. VERY sweet post and a treasure for her.
(I love the way she calls you...)
Shannon - how fun! Thank you for visiting my blog. I am so proud of the mother you have become. Your girls are precious. I will visit again! Jenna
